Join Nadine for an afternoon focused on deep relaxation and rejuvenating your whole being.
Nadine will guide you through a variety of restorative Yin poses to open the body and calm the mind. The workshop will build into a steady gentle vinyasa flow using Yang poses to strengthen and cleanse the body and continue the deep concentration of the mind. This will all take place in the heated room encouraging the body to open and relax more and to de-toxify.
We will then wind down and turn off the heat to shift into a cleansing pranayama (breathing) practice, short meditation and the workshop will culminate in a Yoga Nidra practice.
Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation also known as sleep of the yogi. It is performed lying on the floor using props to allow the body to relax completely. While the body is deeply relaxed as though asleep, the mind remains awake and aware. It is a simple yet powerful practice which energises and revitalises your body, mind and spirit.
Under Nadine's expert guidance you will be fully supported with modifications, props and various philosophical nuggets and leave the workshop feeling refreshed, relaxed and renewed.
