Hidden Door
The old Leith Theatre, Ferry Road, EH6 4AE Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Yes, the time has almost come for us to head on down to Leith Theatre for the fabulous Hidden Door Festival.

We have an amazing line-up for you with three feature performers, one a regular Inky performer, and if that wasn’t enough, three of our audience members will be in with a chance to perform themselves on the Hidden Door stage as we draw names from a hat live on the night for an Open Mic, in true Inky style. Come join us on Tuesday 30 May, 6.30pm!

FEATURING: TANIA HERSHMAN
Tania Hershman’s third short story collection, Some Of Us Glow More Than Others, will be pubilshed by Unthank Books in May 2017, and her debut poetry collection, Terms & Conditions, by Nine Arches Press in July 2017. Tania is also the author of a poetry chapbook, and two short story collections, and co-author of Writing Short Stories: A Writers’ & Artists’ Companion (Bloomsbury, 2014). Tania is curator of ShortStops (shortstops.info), celebrating short story activity across the UK & Ireland.

FEATURING: MILES CHAMBERS
Performing in Edinburgh for the first time, Miles Chambers almost stole the show at new Bristol mayor Marvin Rees’ official swearing-in ceremony with a dramatic rendition of a poem written especially for the occasion, ‘Bristol, Bristol’. On the spot, Miles was named Bristol’s first city poet laureate.
