Demi travelled to LA last July for three months to train with the best in the industry at some of the most famous dance studios in the world such as millennium dance complex, IDA, evolution studios, movement lifestyles and Debbie Reynolds.
Here, Demi trained in master classes with choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Jojo Gomez, Aisha Francis, Yanis Marshall and many more. Through these classes Demi got picked to perform at Friday Night Raw, a very successful event held for the industries elite to showcase their work. Demi performed under choreographer Devaughn Ballinger alongside some of LA’s professional dancers.
Demi then went on to audition for celebrity Amber Rose charity walk, battling it out in a 6 hour audition with 150+ dancers. She was successful to make it through and become one of the main dancers for the event. Official choreographer Jenzi adored Demi, her passion and raw talent so much that he wanted to work with her again in the future, which lead demi to produce her own dance concept video. The video was inspired by her love for the style of dance heels and was shot with other dancers by one of LA’s top videographers.
Demi is now back in Scotland extremely inspired, ready to teach and share her creative choreography and knowledge, hopefully inspiring people to feel confident in their own skin and grow to love heels and commercial dance as much as she does.
