An exhibition of oil paintings and lino prints by contemporary Scottish artists Susan Smith and John Williams. Inspired and informed by the fireside tales of world-renowned Scottish Traveller-storyteller, Duncan Williamson.
Launch event is 7pm, July 5th 2017 — an evening of stories, music and starlore — costs £5 (see below).
Exhibition then runs daily 10am-6pm until July 23rd.

— TANABATA STAR FESTIVAL
Celebrate the launch of the new exhibition with an evening of stories and starlore, with Linda Williamson, Mio Shapley and Joseph Kennedy. The Japanese Star Festival or ‘Tanabata’ is traditionally held on 7th July, where legend says the Cowherd Star (Altair) and Weaver Star (Vega), lovers separated by the Milky Way, can meet just once a year — on the 7th day of the 7th month.
Tickets may be available on the door but book online or by phoning/visiting the Storytelling Centre box office to avoid disappointment.
