Live Music Now Scotland is delighted to present another programme of afternoon concerts in partnership with National Museums Scotland, to run during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest arts festival in the world.
Gráinne Brady & Tina Jordan Rees
Fiddle and step dance duo
“G&T” are a vibrant and unique duo based in Glasgow, playing exciting arrangements of their own compositions on fiddle, piano, flute and whistle. Originally from Ireland and Lancashire, the girls grew up playing Irish traditional music, which greatly influences their music. Also playing at the museum on 10 August.
The theme for this year’s Free Fringe Music programme of traditional Scottish songs and instrumental sets will be Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobites, tying in with the Museum’s major exhibition, “a compelling story of loyalty, loss, rebellion and retribution”.
