FREE ADMISSION — summer music course with SCO musicians

Are you age 11-18 and want to play in a fusion orchestra band?

SCO VIBE Edinburgh will take place from 15 to 18 July 2017 at Holy Rood RC High School. The course will run from 10:30-16:00 each day with a performance on the final day for friends and family.

SCO VIBE is a fusion orchestra, led by internationally renowned animateur and guitarist Paul Griffiths, for young musicians aged 11-18. The course is non-auditioned and is open to all singers and instrumentalists from any musical background, including classical, folk, rock and pop. Over the course of the workshops, participants create and perform music with the guidance and support of professional musicians, enabling them to develop their abilities in composition, improvisation and performance. Young people are encouraged to listen to each other, to work without written notation and to try out new ideas.
