An exciting theatrical event and modern take on the epic Greek tragedy: The Oresteia.
A father’s horrifying sacrifice of his daughter starts a cycle of revenge. His family begins to be destroyed because of his brutal act and his surviving children start to turn on their father. The curse that has gripped the family for generations looks as if it will never end.
First presented at the Citizens Theatre in 2016, Oresteia received five-star reviews from the Scotsman and The Guardian, won CATS Awards including Best New Play, and was nominated for a UK Theatre Award for Best New Play.
