'Spring in your Step' run club is for runners of all abilities who are looking to improve their running and take part in structured training in the build-up to the Kilomathon (8th April) and Edinburgh Marathon Festival (26th & 27th May).
The 'Spring in your Step' Series will be organised by Run4It Lothian Road in conjunction with Run4It Run Club Edinburgh.
The sessions will be held every Monday; meet at 6pm at Run4It Lothian Road for a 6:10pm run. These sessions will offer varied training including intervals, hill repeats and tempo runs. Sessions will get progressively longer week by week in the lead-up to the Kilomathon and Edinburgh Marathon Festival. No matter what your time goal is, these sessions will help you achieve it.
It’s free and all runners are welcome! (as long as you're 18 or over). The runs are supervised by pacers who are on hand to offer running support and advice.
All sessions are structured so that they are suitable for everyone. All we ask is that you can maintain a steady run for around 40 minutes at a pace above 8 minutes per km.
