In this Yin Yoga workshop we will aim to target the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, with some time spent on the upper body. We will first focus on pranayama (breathing) to help carry us through the yin asanas (poses) to target the deep fascia. The extended yin yoga class will stimulate you, leaving you refreshed and uplifted yet focused.
Objective of the Yin Yoga Relaxation Retreat: Practice and understand the basic yin poses, and why we do them. Also, to leave with lightness through the mind and body.
Who’s it for? This workshop truly is for all. If you are an athlete, experienced yoga practitioner, or “not flexible enough to do yoga”, this session with help lengthen and open the body and increase your range of motion.
