Let us help you bring balance to your body, mind and spirit. Make peace with yourself, using Yoga as a journey to self-acceptance, love and forgiveness.
The day starts with Yin Yoga led by Hannah King where we will first focus on deep yin asanas (poses) to lengthen the fascia, allowing the muscles to lengthen to relieve pressure on the joints.
Next, we move on to Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga led by Amy Hughes. Power Vinyasa is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements.
The class will transition to a 30-minute Pranayama, a formal practice of controlling the breath, which is the source of our prana, or vital life force.
A health vegan lunch will be supplied followed by a peaceful zen walk around the grounds.
The afternoon session brings together restorative and relaxing yoga which will help bring a blissful state of relaxation. This restorative yoga helps to increase energy and calm the mind, while the oils assist in emotional healing and releasing stagnant energy.
Who’s it for?
This urban retreat truly is for all. If you are an athlete, experienced yoga practitioner, or “not flexible enough to do yoga”, this day will help lengthen tight muscles and fascia. If you are a beginner, this session is paced slowly, giving you time to get in and out of poses comfortably, confidently, and safely. If you are stressed, this session will be a treat, just your time to slow down.
