Fort Douglas is flying. And soon you’ll be too with the opening of our funtastic new Zip Wires. Be amongst the first to have a go on these slick new zip lines and charge across a new high rise walkway from the existing fort treehouse to the new hub, inspired by the park’s gorgeous 19th century Orangerie. And adults need not miss out – they’re for you too. Suitable for ages five plus. Woohoo!
Pirate fancy dress encouraged for this family fun weekend. There’ll be spot prizes for awesome outfits on both days in Fort Douglas.
Restoration Café will also be on hand in their horse box serving coffee, juice, hot dogs and more.

Make your own pirate hat. Join in this simple craft for all ages and look the pirate part! 10am-4pm each day.
Make a balloon pirate sword. Join the team and make your own balloon pirate sword. 10am-2pm each day, first come first served.
Face painting will be available from 1pm-4pm on both days.
Colouring corner with special crowns to make your own. Be a princess and prince for the day! 10am-4pm each day.
Walk the plank! Suitable for all ages, this light-hearted challenge will be set up both days.
