Why join Hearing Dogs at this Great British Dog Walk?

Where: Holyrood Park, Queens Drive, Edinburgh, Midlothian, EH8 8HG
Registration: Opens at 10am
Cost: Adults: £10, Children (under 16): Free
Distance: 5km (Family Route) or 6.5km (Scenic Route)
Terrain: The 5km route is wheelchair and pushchair friendly and follows the road and path around the park. The 6.5km route is on varied terrain and is steep as it approaches Arthur's Seat (not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs).
Parking: Free parking at Broad Pavement Car Park, adjacent to event site.
More: It is a 640 acre Royal Park adjacent to Holyrood Palace. The parks highest point is Arthur's Seat, an ancient volcano, and sits 251m above sea level giving excellent views of the city. It is also the site of a large and well preserved fort. This is one of four hill forts dating from around 2000 years ago. With its diverse range of flora and geology, it is also a site of Special Interest. (Information from WisitScotland.co.uk)
