In the 1950s, American ethnomusicologist Alan Lomax conducted field recordings of Scots and Gaelic song.

Now, Interrobang composer Paul Walker and host Ricky Monahan Brown are joined by award-winning guests Stuart A. Paterson, Marcas Mac an Tuairneir and Katharine Macfarlane: Home Words in using these recordings as inspiration for a night of original song, poetry and storytelling in Scots, Gaelic and English.

INTERROBANG: Fieldwork is made possible by a grant from the Tasgadh Fund, administered by Fèisean nan Gàidheal with funding from Creative Scotland. / Image credit: Jacques Tsiantar
