Your hosts are currently exiled on the Isle of Academia, where traditional costume includes, but is not limited to: unwashed hair, ink-stained hands (not from writing poetry, unfortunately), sweatpants, and that one enormous t-shirt from when you went to Seaworld as a child.
We dream of our escape. In the distance, the glimmering hope of freedom from exam revision and your beautiful voices reciting poetry…
WE'RE BACK FOR OJALÁ VOLUME 2 PEOPLE!
Here's how it works!
-Sign up for a slot to perform *one* of your poems at the slam. It doesn't matter how long or short it is. You can sign up by posting on this event. Alternatively, email me or Arantza at
or [email protected]
-Two random audience members, as well as Arantza and Ale, will give each poem a score.
-The winning poet will get a longer set (15 minutes) to perform at the next slam.
-We've also come up with another category: taking inspiration from the snapping of fingers at other poetry slams, we'll pick the most 'clickable' poem (not necessarily the one that scored the highest). This one will win a cool prize on the night!
And this time, we're bringing back the fabulous winner of our last Slam, Robbie MacLeòid!
We can't wait to hear your poems!
See you soon, Ojalá.
